      Within my beautiful upbringing, one of the things I learned was the love towards animals. Having been born and raised in the countryside, there were always animals in my home ... so much so that one of my first pets was a cow that I remember with a lot of love. My love for animals grows every day and along with it, the tireless desire to work for their welfare to provide a better quality of life for them. The people who know me know that I always carry food sacks and gallons of water in my car to feed all the dogs and cats that cross my path, either on my way to work, back to my house or even while walking.

     

     The number of dogs and cats abandoned in the streets of our country every day is increasing; a situation that fills me with much sadness but at the same time, increases my desire to do more for them. I have had the blessing of being able to rescue, rehabilitate and facilitate responsible adoption to many puppies that have been abandoned on the street and / or dogs that lived in abuse and neglect - and today they are very happy in wonderful homes, inside and outside of Puerto Rico.

    

    Kolitas De Mi Corazón, Inc. is a Non-profit organization born as part of my great desire and calling to serve and help abandoned dogs and cats in the streets of our country. I will share with you the experiences, rescues, collaborations, and everything related to my work for the welfare of animals in our country.
